Originally from London, Lucy Cant trained as a visual artist at Camberwell College of the Arts and the University of East London where she did her writing on objects, walls and sometimes toilet doors. She now lives in Toronto and her writing has moved onto paper. She is the author of two novels, One Inch Galleon and Into the Tunnel, and she is working on a third, The Fondant Forest.

Her background in art and her affinity for words mean that she sometimes helps artists pen statements and grant proposals. If you are an artist who struggles with these things, please feel free to reach out. If you need help with any other writing, then please also feel free to ask.
